Junior National Trip Preliminary Info

I know a lot of you are looking for information regarding this years trip to Junior Nationals in Fairbanks Alaska. I'm going to highlight a few key points for you below. 

1. The team naming will not be official until it is posted. Preliminary points information can be found on the Results link of the Mid-A Website. 

2. Complete rules and qualification procedure can be found in the Mid-A Handbook.

3. Complete information on this years event can be found on the official Junior National Website.

4. Preliminary cost of the trip is $1,600.00 per athlete NOT INCLUDING AIRFARE.

5. Athletes are required to purchase and book airfare. Athletes are allowed to arrive in Fairbanks from 9am Thursday March 7th to 9pm Saturday March 9th. Athletes May depart from Saturday March 16th to Sunday March 17th. *****Athletes arriving prior to Saturday March 9th will encounter additional cost for lodging and meals for each day prior to the 9th this fee will be added on to the estimated base cost of $1,600.00

6. All athletes must have a current USSA Licence to compete. To apply for a licence please visit the USSA Site 

7. All athletes must be a current member of NYSSRA NORDIC 

8. All athletes must race in a Mid-A Issued Ski Suit this suit will be available for purchase at an additional cost. You may also want to check around with former trip participants to see if you can borrow a suit. 

9. As the team is named and more information becomes available it will be posted on the Mid-A website.
