Final Mid-A Rankings List 2021-22
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic the Mid-A committee has changed the qualification point standard for U18/20 men and women to 350 points or below to qualify for this years teams. The decision was made due to athletes not having USSA points or Mid-A points carrying over from the 2020-21 racing season due to the lack of races. ( the standard point qualification prior to this season for U18/20 men and women was 300 and U16 men and women 350 ) Athletes who have qualified for the team are highlighted in GREEN. I did my best to substitute points for athletes that needed them to qualify. ( Athletes may substitute 1 points race from either the Quarry Road Eastern Cup or Craftsbury Eastern Cup if needed ) athletes must have competed in a minimum of 3 out of 4 Mid-A JNQ races to qualify as per the Jan 10th 2022 qualification update ) * protest period is open until 2/11/22 at 8am at that time the Final Mid-A Rankings list will be finalized. If you have any questions or concerns please e-mail Jason@rochesternordicracing.com stay tuned to this website for updated trip details tomorrow after the points list is finalized. ( updated 2/10 @ 8am. JH
*athletes who competes in 1 or more Mid-A JNQ races are also qualified to represent NY at the NENSA U16 festival as well as NENSA Eastern High School Championships. ( details on those racing opportunities forthcoming )
